Alps Prosthetic Ointment is a vitamin A and D formulation that soothes and
protects the skin. It may be used nightly after the prosthesis has been
removed, or during the day under a silicone prosthetic device. To reduce
sheer force between the silicone liner and the patientis skin, the ointment can
be applied at the proximal edge of the liner, fibualr heads, patella, or
condyles if necessary.
ALPS Prosthetic Ointment is available in a 4 oz. tube.

ALPS Prosthetic Cleanser is a non-alkaline, soap-free cleanser which can be used
for either hand or machine washing of prosthetic liners or sleeves.
Patients with sensitive skin may also find that this soothing cleansing agent is
ideal for washing skin areas that come into contact with the prosthesis.
