Since its introduction as the first transparent silicone suction socket, the
CLEARPRO has helped thousands of users comfortably suspend their prosthesis.
Using its vast knowledge of silicone materials, ALPS engineered a patented
product that provides excellent adhesion to maintain suspension as well as high
tear strength to maximize durability. The medical grade silicone used in the
CLEARPRO allows freedom of movement with the added comfort of as little as 1.5mm
of material behind the knee. The transparency permits the observation of socket
pressure, scar tissue and possible air entrapment. A built-in universal distal
umbrella accepts all types of locking device pin mechanisms. Designed with
additional silicone along the distal end, CLEARPRO provides a more gradual
transition in reducing pistoning and increasing distal stabilization. Produced
in our FDA registered facility, the CLEARPRO is manufactured using the highest
quality standards available today. |
